What is Live Artwork?

Live painting is a form of art that is created on-site, in real time during weddings, events and parties.

The Drawing Board currently offers wedding portraits and guest illustrations as a live artwork service.

Why Watercolor?

Watercolor is soft, delicate, and whimsical. The transparency can be full of light and offer vibrant contrast in the same painting.

Many clients choose to pair their wedding portrait with guest illustrations during the reception. Watercolor is a fast-drying medium. This means that your wedding portrait and your guests portraits will be dry and ready to take home to frame by the end of the event.
